Yes, that is exactly what it is designed for. Lighten Up utilises THDA (a lipid-soluble Vitamin C) alongside natural pigment inhibitors to target dark spots at the source, gradually restoring a clear, uniform tone.

Q. Is it suitable for sensitive skin that usually reacts to Vitamin C?

Yes. Traditional Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) requires a very low, acidic pH that stings and irritates fragile skin. Because our formula is 100% waterless and lipid-based, it utilizes non-acidic THDA combined with soothing Macadamia and Rice Bran oils, giving you high-performance brightening without the backlash.

Q. Will this serum make me sensitive to the sun?

No. Unlike traditional retinoids or harsh exfoliating acids, Lighten Up is photo-stable and non-photosensitizing. It is packed with protective antioxidants like Vitamin C, Bakuchiol, and Rice Bran oil that actively defend your skin. (We still recommend daily SPF to protect your skin and prevent new sun spots from forming!).

Yes! Because it contains no harsh acids or sun-sensitizing agents, it can be used once or twice daily as part of your morning or evening routine.

Q. Can I use this with other treatments or active serums?

Yes. Lighten Up plays wonderfully with our Collagen Hydro Spritz, and our Beauty Balm. If you use strong prescription retinoids or exfoliating acids, alternate usage or layer mindfully to keep your skin barrier balanced.

Q. How long before I see visible results?

Most customers notice softer, smoother texture within the first week. Noticeable brightening and dark spot fading typically take 6 to 8 weeks of consistent daily application. The magic is in the consistency, the slow reveal is part of the glow.
